The Real Banksy
What I’ve done here is paint someone doing a street picture - ironic because I do street pictures myself - but instead of a hooded youth… it’s an old lady!
To extend the metaphor I took the slogan “keep Britain tidy” and use that instead of something rude. Basically, old ladies do think that slogan is good so that bit is accurate, but also it’s a commentary on how graffiti is seen as untidy when actually it’s often some of the cleverest “advertising” out there! You’ll laugh when you get it.

If you are the real Banksy you have been a huge inspiration to me for continuing to create art. If you are some imposter I hope you rot for pretending to be something you're not.

Temper temper. I’m the real Banksy, and I live in Hadley Wood (luckily Hadley Wood is a big place so that won’t help anyone track me down!).
